TapTV Poker

Tap TV Poker is a networked multiplayer poker game where you use your smart phone to play poker against players all over the nation. I love Texas Hold'em and when we were asked to make a true multiplayer Texas Hold'em game I was super excited. To get to develop a Server system that could be playing thousands of hands of poker at once was very daunting but I came out the other end very pleased with the system I developed. I was responsible for developing the network protocol for communication between Server, TV, and Phone Clients. I developed the Texas Hold'em poker logic including hand resolution, bet management, AI, and player management. I worked on the Matchmaking system and Table Spotlighting systems. I also developed the Database system for player stats, location stats, and game results.
